It is a coating system in accordance with international standards. This rubber and EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) based system is abrasion resistant and has impact emulation feature.

It is a floor system consisting of a mixture polyurethane binder and can be applied 15 mm thickness in total with two layers; top layer is 7 mm high ultraviolet rays resistant colored EPDM rubber granules with single component and bottom layer is 8 mm SBR (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber) granules with polyurethane binder. (Thickness may vary depending on customer’s request or specification)

Advantages

It is highly durable thanks to being waterproof. It is suitable for athlete’s health, minimizes the negative consequences such as slipping and sprains. It is an aesthetic flooring formed with synthetic materials designed especially for sports fields and cinder tracks.

It applies on, preferably, asphalt or concrete in desired colors with 2-3 mm thickness. System is consisting of all modified acrylic or rubber powder filled cushion surface regulator, acrylic coating and acrylic topcoat paint.

It developed for multi-purpose outdoor sports fields.

Differences between SBR and EPDM

SBR is made from rubber granules that recycled from vehicle tires and electrical materials. On the other hand, EPDM is made from pure rubber that produced for specifically industrial products.

SBR is lower-cost rubber type and EPDM is 3-4 times more expensive than SBR.

Unlike EPDM, SBR’s mixture has irregular structure.

SBR can be processed more easily than EPDM.

They are flexible. In terms of flexibility EPDM is much better than SBR. Both materials have strong resistance against heat, light, abrasion and aging.
