Resin 360 Solvent -Free Epoxy Primer
ONKAPOX RESIN 360, is a two-component, solvent-free, epoxy based clear, low-viscosity primer.
AREA OF USE
ONKAPOX RESIN 360 can be used as a primer under epoxy and polyurethane based coatings. It can also be used as a repair mortar by mixing 1:2 – 1:4 with silica sand with various grain diameters. ONKAPOX RESIN 360 is primarily used for face walls, foundations, bridges, terrace insulations, strengthening ground concrete and as a primer under polyurethane insulation and coating systems.
- Creates a strong, suitable primer under epoxy and polyurethane coatings.
- Protects the adherence of the coating to be applied on itself, due to its resistance to moisture from the negative.
- Penetrates well due to its low viscosity.
- Has very good mechanical strength.
Cured concrete surfaces must have a concrete quality of BS18 or minimum 350 dose and it must be minimum 3 weeks old. Foam layer on the surface must be removed with Blastrac or wiping machines, dust layer must be removed with industrial vacuums and the floor must be free of dirt and oils. Tensile strength of the floor concrete must be minimum 1.5N/mm2 and humidity must be maximum +6 ºC.
First, Component A must be mixed well for 1-2 minutes with a low-speed mechanical mixer (300-400 rpm). Then Component B must be added and mixed well. The resulting homogeneous mixture will be applied on the floor with a roll brush or a level comb. If epoxy or polyurethane coating will be made on the moisture barrier, silica sand (0,8-1 kg/m2) with grain diameter of 0,1-0,3 mm or 0,3-0,8 mm depending on the system, while the ONKAPOX RESIN 360 is still wet.
ONKAPOX RESIN 360 is resistant against dilute acids, lye, saline solutions, mineral oils and many other chemicals. You can ask our technical department for a chemical resistance chart if necessary.
As a two-component kit: total 12 kg
Component A : 8.00 kg
Component B : 4.00 kg
0,200-0,400 kg/m2, depending on the quality of the concrete.
Can be stored for 18 months in a dry and cool place, in its original unopened packaging.
Components must not contact with the skin or the eyes or the foods, due to their irritant properties. Any areas of contact with the material must be washed with plenty of water and soap and a physician must be consulted in serious cases.
Gloves must be worn during application. Do not approach the working site with fire.
