PVC coatings can be produced in two types; They are low-PVC (less than 20%) homogeneous coatings and qualified PVC coatings with a thin transparent film on the multi-layer filling material top surfaces. Multi-layer PVC coatings consist of two or three separate layers.

PVC flooring materials are insensitive to oils (unfilled ones are less sensitive than filled coatings). All PVC coatings are sensitive to cold, fire and snow.
